Extensive recycling possibilities
As the raw materials are natural commodities LOPAS houses are extensively recyclable. 99% of the mass of a LOPAS house can be returned to nature’s cycle.
This is a big difference compared with conventional passive-house buildings. As a rule many passive house constructors handle raw materials as an end use and therefore are not able to be recycled any more. Synthetic solutions are also almost always used for density and insulation.
